Thanks for the words of Support! It means a great deal to all the volunteers.

"I was thrilled to discover that Rondaxe/Bald has been adopted and will be restored. I have the pleasure of being on the Azure Mt. Fire Tower Committee. We restored Azure last year. .... I'll be back to climb Bald again since we were totally fogged in last weekend - Jan. 3, 2004."

"On September 27th, I took my Webelo Den of 6 boys on our first real mountain hike. I chose Bald Mountain because a friend recommended it to me as a good starter trip. My scouts were very pleased with the hike and the view from the top. They of course would liked to have climbed the tower. They were excited to hear that it is being restored and hope to return when completed. As a momento of our first of many trips I would like to order 6 Friends of Bald Mt. patches. Very best of luck on your worthwhile project."

"Thank you for all the beautiful work you have done on the tower restoration. We visited on a beautiful day last September with a group from the ADK Onondaga Chapter."

"Bald Mountain and the fire tower were a huge part of my childhood life and continue as an adult. I can see the tower from the beach near my camp and my father took my family and myself hiking up Bald Mountain every year since I could walk. Now I continue to take my son there several times each year."

"Please accept this donation to the Bald Mt. Fire Tower Restoration Project. It is in memory of my mother Mary ... who summered on Rondaxe Lake and always enjoyed the fire tower."
