Game Laws |
| Deer - Close of season October 31 to September 15, no person to kill more than (2), none to be killed West of Utica and B.R. RR, no spotted fawn to be killed or taken alive at any time. |
| Moose, Elk and Beaver - No open season for Moose, Elk, or Beaver. |
| Black Bear - Black Bear, closed season, July 1 to September 30. |
| Hares and Rabbits - Hares and Rabbits, closed season, Herkimer and Oneida Counties, February 15 to September 15. |
| Birds - Ducks, closed season, January 1 to September 15; Woodcock and Partridge, closed season, December 1 to September 15, lawful to kill but 36 in a season, not to transport more than 12 at a time. Not to be sold at any time. |
| Fish - Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout, closed season, September 1 to April 15, limit 6 inches; Salmon Trout, closed season, October 1 to April 15, limit 15 inches; Black Bass, closed season, January 1 to June 15, limit 10 inches. |

Birds or Game cannot be taken out of the State, and any game or fish in transportation must be accompanied by the owner. |
